Travel Grant
A travel grant exists to encourage conference participation by one postdoctoral junior scientist by supporting his/her travel to attend MobiHealth 2011. Conference submissions are due 5 June 2011, while special session and workshop submissions are due 30 June 2011; applications for the travel grant are due 15 July 2011. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply after carefully reviewing the following information to insure their eligibility and ability to comply with application requirements and deadlines.
Eligibility
Candidates must have a contribution accepted for presentation at MobiHealth 2011. Candidates should expect to apply for the travel grant before receiving notification that their submission has been accepted.
The grant is available to a postdoctoral junior scientist pursuing research in areas of interest to MobiHealth 2011. Junior postdoctoral applicants should have earned a Ph.D. degree sometime during the five-year period from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2010.
Award
A grant of 500 EUR will be awarded to the successful postdoctoral junior scientist candidate.
Since award presentation is made at the conference site, the awardee must make his/her own arrangements to cover travel expenses to the meeting to receive the award.

- short biographical and research activity summaries
- copies of all summaries or abstracts submitted to MobiHealth 2011
- reference letters and
- a statement of need for travel support
No application can be processed until the award Chair receives all application material, which are due 15 July 2011.
Selection
The awardee will be selected by the Travel Grant Committee. An awardee's selection is primarily based upon the candidate's potential or demonstrated aptitude for research. Successful candidates will be notified of their selection as soon as possible upon completion of the selection process which should be completed by end - July.
